  • Unable to purchase tickets from Colombia

Hello, I’m trying to buy the tickets I need for my family trip on September 23rd, but since Saturday, neither the app nor the website will allow me to complete the payment. I’d like to know why this is happening. On the Bernina Express website, I was able to purchase the required seats, but I haven’t been able to buy the ticket, which is sold by SBB. I’ve tried with a Visa card and also with another Mastercard, and the payment has been declined. Perhaps there are some countries with payment restrictions? I would appreciate any help you can provide so I can resolve this and complete the purchase. Thank you very much.

  • Oppressive Fines and Controllers

In the past, passengers entered a train or bus then a controller passed by to charge them for their ride. Fair trade, simple and real time payment for a service you get. Nowadays, a controller is hunting for a mistake, a few seconds of delay to fine a passenger who forgot to extend his/her zone or even purchased a ticket before the train moves with hundreds of CHF as a punishment. This is abuse. Injustice coated with Swiss precision. Nothing but robbing people off their limited resources in the most expensive city in the world. This behaviour is literally unfair and inhumane. Following oppressive rules is not a justification to wrong people and defy common sense and fair trade principles.
I’m extremely disappointed from SBB and if there is an alternative I would totally boycott them until they correct their fining and ticketing ethics.

  • Refund to my visa - but its the wrong number

I am trying to get a refund on tickets bought online, logged in. When i get to the refund screen it shows that the refund will be applied to a visa card number that isn’t mine. I know the payment went thru on my card as it showed up on my visa statement. So why is it showing a completely different number that the credit will be applied to?
