Country of production for Baked Goods - Europe. Our baked goods, including croissants and bread, are delivered fresh to individual departure points by regional bakeries. They are prepared daily by local bakeries in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. The bread of our sandwiches is also produced in Switzerland. The dining cars are supplied with baked goods based on the train’s departure station.

Gluten-free foods contain no gluten-containing grains or products derived thereof. Nevertheless, products labelled as gluten-free may contain up to 20 milligrammes of gluten per kilogramme. Since contamination cannot be prevented during production and preparation and traces of gluten may occur, we do not declare any of our dishes as gluten-free.
Lactose-free foods can contain up to 100 milligrams of lactose per 100 grams. Lactose (also: lactose, milk sugar) is the main sugar in milk and consists of the two simple sugars glucose and galactose. Lactose is present in milk, cream and cheese (except hard cheese). Depending on the type of bread, our bread may also contain lactose.
